Come in to my forest and I may just munch on you for lunch!
Can't believe my eyes!
Here's a bit of something you should always keep in mind-
No news is "pure news" unless you witnessed it with you own eyes and even then the news is from your own perspective.
The media gets it's stories from many "sources" and they are not all reliable or creditable. Many stories are spun and fabricated behind closed doors of various governments or government agencies so don't be fooled into thinking your getting the "facts". There are those who seek to paint you a picture of what they want you to believe via the various news sources.
Let's say you were walking down the street and you saw a woman grab a small boy and begin to squeeze him and beat him and hear another person crying "help someone please help! she doesn't know what she's doing!"
Now your eyes and ears can both tell you this woman is beating her child because she's out of her mind. But the fact may be that the boy is choking and his mother is trying to dislodge the object but is not sure what to do. So you react to what you see and run over and grab the mother and begin to "subdue" her whilst the boy falls to the ground and dies of suffocation.
Every day we misconstrue things we see and hear because we react without having all the "facts" and as I said before "facts" are a matter of perception.
So as the media and government try to "mold" your thoughts and feelings of our world today in order to control you, remember, there are many facets and points of view to every story and your only getting part of it.
So take it all with a grain of salt and check many, many sources of information. Don't just take the word of one news source...you will have a tainted view.
Same goes with friends, family, religion and blogs. You only seeing one aspect of what their saying and that is their view point. Read, study, listen ask questions, go see for yourself if possible. Be quick to listen , slow to react. Don't form an opinion to quickly. Try to get as close to the facts as you can....you will see the whole world differently.
